I hope it stay committed. Yes we need democracy and civil governance. But, today we are still living as 'a shock society' or 'an after-shock society'. I hope this shock will gone soon. Than Indonesian should understand their roots. Indonesian is mixed.. mixed of Mongolian, Benggala, Dong Son and of course Homoerectus Soloensis (but not for me... as I dont want to have long hand and fur). There are no one is 'originally Indonesian'. The issue of tribes should be gone forever once they understood 100%... our history. Definition of Tour of Duty, Tribes and Ethnics should be re-defined. Military school should understand this. No.2. I think if Military can became the back-bone of security provider... that is good and very good and good enough. Other things should not be on the hand of the military. And I don't think the military had delivered the role as a back-bone of security provider, yet. I don't believed that military understand that 'potable water' is a sign of sustainable growth. I don't believed that military could pushed the country to that point through their commando system. Other branch of governance should do that. Military should provide secure environment to make it possible to have a good governance. How? Deal with terrorism. Direct or indirect. Provide Secure environment to the society. Why teaching math and building public bridges? That is Military in older and traditional (between 45 to the fall of Soeharto) thinking. If, military can deliver security, the role of People Defence Force is automatically achieved. My opinion; millions of Indonesian didn't even feel secure to live in Indonesia anymore. Security is an absolute main task for Military and of course + Police + Justice Dept. Nothing can grow, without that. And this nation is desperately need it.
